CHV is a custom frame shop with extensive experience providing high quality consultation and framing services at reasonable cost.

CHV provides a tremendous assortment of framing options - a wide selection of both wood and metal frames - many with finishes and dimensions that can be customized to specifically suit the works.  In consultation with the client, the number of choices involved in framing are considered - such as color and material complement, matting dimensions, grain and/or surface treatment - quite a range of subtle decisions that, with CHV’s extensive experience and aesthetic sensitivity, are brought to attention.        

The long-term protection and best possible presentation of the artwork is primary to the framing options examined and the final choices made.  All materials used at CHV are archival and acid-free and are employed with conservation issues in mind.

The variety of work we handle is broad - specializing in art works on paper and photographs - but also including paintings on canvas, posters, textiles, memorabilia and unique objects.

CHV has a deep history of working with a range of clients that include artists, gallerists, collectors, museums and art consultants - as well as first-time clients.
